24/3/2023 IN MEMORIUM: TERRY NORRIS It is with great sorrow that we mark the passing of our dear friend and client. Terry accepted his last role in Jack Irish at the age of ninety. He joked to us that he was delighted that the episode was set in a nursing home with him in bed because it made for a very comfortable shoot. Terry loved to work and gave every offer serious and respectful consideration. He was the original trooper always turning up prepared and ready to give his all. The veteran of iconic television shows such as Cop Shop and Bellbird was discovered by a new generation of young directors for shows such as Bloom, Judy and Punch, The Dressmaker, Paper Planes, Looking for Grace and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Terry was active and vibrant until just a few months before his death and we are very grateful that he did not have to struggle for too long. A life which has ended at the age of ninety two is not unexpected but he had convinced us that he would go on forever. Fortunately he has left behind a body of work which will live on.
We send our love to his beautiful wife Julia and his children and celebrate the life of a wonderfully gifted, intelligent actor and a decent and humble man.
